Brooke

Brooke is a native Floridian and one of the credentialed veterinary technicians employed at Country Oaks Animal Hospital & Steele Pain Center. She earned her associate degree in veterinary nursing from St. Petersburg College and briefly worked at the University of Florida where she rotated through all their specialty services. She later returned to the Tampa Bay Area to work in specialty and emergency medicine. Currently, Brooke is working full-time while pursuing her Bachelor's degree in veterinary nursing with a focus on management and clinical medicine from St. Petersburg College.
She has decided to return to a specialty practice focused on neurology, and we wish her all the best. Brooke’s gentle touch and compassion with our rehabilitation patients will be sorely missed. In her free time, Brooke likes to hang out on the boat and take her four dogs for nature trail walks. Her dogs include Ellie, a Lab/Pit mix, Jax, a Husky/Shepherd mix, and two French bulldogs named Lucy and Louie. She is very excited to become a proud aunt to a handsome baby boy!
